Bruschetta

Sometimes the simple recipes are best. Grilled bread rubbed topped with a mixture of tomatoes, garlic, onion, basil and balsamic glaze.

Preparation Time 2 minutes

Cooking Time 6 minutes

Total Time 8 minutes

Ingredients

  • Italian Bread Sliced into 4cm Slices x 1 Loaf

  • Olive Oil

  • Medium Tomato, Dried x 1

  • Onion, Diced x 1/4 cup

  • Garlic clove x 1

  • Basil Leaves, Chopped x 1 Handful

  • Balsamic Glaze

Method

    • Drizzle oil onto a grill pan over medium heat

    • Place bread slices onto grill pan and drizzle tops with more olive oil

    • Slice open garlic clove and rub over bread

    • Grill bread for roughly 3 minutes each side until lightly toasted.

    • Remove from grill to a serving platter.

    • Stir together tomatoes, onion, and basil leaves

    • Add salt and spoon onto the top of the grilled bread

    • Drizzle all slices with balsamic glaze
