Sometimes the simple recipes are best. Grilled bread rubbed topped with a mixture of tomatoes, garlic, onion, basil and balsamic glaze.
Preparation Time 2 minutes
Cooking Time 6 minutes
Total Time 8 minutes
Italian Bread Sliced into 4cm Slices x 1 Loaf
Olive Oil
Medium Tomato, Dried x 1
Onion, Diced x 1/4 cup
Garlic clove x 1
Basil Leaves, Chopped x 1 Handful
Balsamic Glaze
Drizzle oil onto a grill pan over medium heat
Place bread slices onto grill pan and drizzle tops with more olive oil
Slice open garlic clove and rub over bread
Grill bread for roughly 3 minutes each side until lightly toasted.
Remove from grill to a serving platter.
Stir together tomatoes, onion, and basil leaves
Add salt and spoon onto the top of the grilled bread
Drizzle all slices with balsamic glaze
