About Mains of Drum

We are a family owned and run Garden Centre set in beautiful landscaped grounds on the A93 between Peterculter and Banchory just beside the village of Drumoak. Since opening in 2009 we have now become a superior shopping destination on Royal Deeside for not only beautiful plants and all things for the garden, but have also created an award winning Giftware department and Restaurant too. We are dog friendly downstairs in our shop and the plant area. However, we only allow service dogs upstairs.

Store Opening Hours

9am - 5pm, everyday.

We offer top-quality products and the highest level of customer service. We have an excellent team of Plant Experts who can assist with all your gardening needs and a driver on hand to deliver if necessary. In addition to gardening supplies, we have an extensive range of giftware, books, cards, furniture, a food hall, clothing, outdoor living departments, and a restaurant upstairs.

Please note: We are only taking bookings for tables of 6 or more people or for Afternoon Tea. We advise booking in advance to attend our Afternoon Tea service.

Proudly family-run for 15 years and counting, we are run by a local family that lives just around the corner! The local community is at the heart of what we do, and we aim to not only be a favourite go-to for the locals but also give back to the community we are part of.
