Kitchen Porter
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support our award-winning Restaurant. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in keeping things clean and organised, and are a team player, this could be your perfect role! Hours available Thursday and Saturday, 9-5 pm.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure the kitchen, utensils, and equipment are clean, sanitised, and ready for use.
- Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers and hand-wash items as needed.
- Stocking & Storage: Unload deliveries, organise stock, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- General Cleaning: Keep floors, work surfaces, and waste areas tidy and hygienic.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Team Player: Work well with others and support the kitchen staff during busy periods.
- Reliable & Efficient: Show up on time, ready to get stuck in with a positive attitude.
- Hardworking: Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented: Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and safe.
- Eager to Learn: No experience required—just a willingness to learn and grow!
About Us
We are a family-owned and run Garden Centre with a passion for building community, set in beautifully landscaped grounds on the A93 between Peterculter and Banchory, just beside the village of Drumoak. Since opening in 2009, we have become a superior shopping destination on Royal Deeside for beautiful plants and all things for the garden.
