Chocolate Brownie

  • Caster Sugar x 370g

  • Cocoa Powder x 80g

  • Plain Flour x 60g

  • Baking Powder x 2 tsp

  • Eggs x 8

  • Salted Butter (melted) x 250g

  • Vanilla Extract x 1 tsp

  • Dark Chocolate Buttons x 200g


    • Firstly sieve together all dry ingredients.

    • Then add eggs, melted butter and vanilla extract and mix. The batter should be quite wet in texture.

    • Fold in chocolate buttons

    • Spoon the brownie mixture into a greased and lined large baking tray and smooth over with spoon.

    • Bake at 180°C for approximately 25 minutes or to test, the knife will have melted chocolate on it but no sponge mixture.

    • Cool in the tin for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack. Leave till completely cool before portioning.

    • Lastly, leave the brownie until completely cool before serving and enjoy.
